Farm History:

The Goodfellow family was among the original six growers to join Jack and Aleta Brown when Jack Brown Produce was relocated to Sparta in 1960. Three Goodfellow brothers, Roy, Carl and Gordon (George's dad) began the farm.

Varieties Grown:

Gala, Honeycrisp, McIntosh, Jonagold, Golden Delicious, Empire, Fuji, Red Delicious, Jonathon and Ida Red.

Apple Acreage:

Goodfellow Orchards and G&L Farms have 100 acres combined.

Items of Interest:

This orchard has undergone a large replanting program the past five years to update the variety mix and transform to smaller trees. Goodfellow Orchards has an apple storage facility to hold apples from their farm and also for other Jack Brown Produce growers.
