Youngquist Orchards

Key Personnel:

The orchard is operated by Mark and Kathryn Youngquist. Working closely with Mark are his father Wayne, and Mark’s son Jordan. Jordan is the 6th generation of the Youngquist family to farm the orchard.

Gala, Honeycrisp, Jonagold, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, McIntosh, Jonathon, Ginger Gold, Cortland, Rome, Fuji and Ida Red.

Youngquist Orchards is comprised of 180 acres.

Items of Interest:

The Youngquist family has been aggressively re-planting their orchards with new
varieties and improved strains of traditional varieties. New plantings have the trees
closer together and supported by a trellis system of wooden posts and wires.
